The shots were all taken handheld and in light shower weather condition. But the lens is a real good performer despite all that. Very Happy Very Happy

What camera was the lens mounted on?

Beautiful bokeh, by the way. The lens looks like a winner.

I used to have one of those lenses when I was collecting takumars. Its a large lens with a preset aperture.
How many blades does the diaphram have? I recall it having a lot of blades.

Beautiful samples: another great series from one of those old preset takumars.
I never heard of a SMC version of this, all the ones I've seen were just labeled as "takumar".

To resolve the lens identification question - can you post a picture of the lens ?

Have not counted it and the lens is not with me at the moment . I would say around 12 to 15!

You are correct. It's just labeled "Takumar". Sorry for the confusion! Smile Smile

It's a "Takumar", not SMC Takumar. Sorry for the confusion!

A second set of impressive images from you Ferrick .

Thank you! Credit should go to the lens and the good shake reduction system of the camera. Smile Smile

It's the second time Pentax have been mentioned. Image stabilisation in the camera is the better option for those using MF lenses. I might have to ask MO about where she got her camera from.
