Just remember the K-01 does not have a viewfinder but it does have the in body stabilization.Check ebay's DSLR section to get an idea of current Pentax prices and models...2nd hand (not that that is reliable for good 2nd hand prices) There is a K-x stormtrooper DSLR at a very low price.

I'm going to stick with Nikon. I already have a reasonably good camera. Their VR is in the lens, but the trade off is better stabilisation. I did more research. VRII can bring down 4 stops. That sounds very impressive.

If you like chopping and changing don't. It's too late for me to change. If I stick with Nikon and continue to invest in a few more AF lenses I will have a reasonably good set up. The major negative is that I am constrained and can't use other lenses etc. I suspect Nikon deliberately try to keep it that way.

If I buy another system I will get more flexibility. Pentax or Sony NEX or Olympus. I may change my mind again but for now will stay with Nikon.
