Andrew, the Shanghai film is a good film indeed, at the box it's marked ISO 100 but after some sheets I realized that ISO 50 is the speed it works well with my type of tank and agitation. You can expect a moderate grain, detailed highlights and shadows, and medium contrast. The film develops well at the same time/temp as Ilford FP4+. I bought some boxes at ebay to try some initial shots with the camera in 4x5, bought also Foma 100. The Shanghai is near good as the Foma at the half of the price. Some guys complains about the softness of the emulsion, but I don't care, as I always handled emulsion film with care, Photo-Flo and cheap cotton gloves are your friends.
The 3rd photo was taken early in the morning, this is a small farm road, and the white dog 50 meters in front of the point I took the shot called my attention to the special light crossing the trees, he deserves part of the credit of this pic,
