Downloads as a plugin to PS. I haven't even begun to see the potential of
this program, the filters are simply amazing. |

Yes I like a lot and have had some decent results with it, mostly with my Fuji E550. This was a quick effort to see how the Tri-X-Pan preset looked on an image from the Telemar 22A . Orange filter applied also, I think it catches the look of Tri-X-pan quite well

Yes, it looks like TriX to me, well done! For S's and G's I tried the software
on an already BW shot using Fomapan 400 in the Viv Ultra Wide and Slim.
This might be sacrilegious, but I do like the effect. First one is the straight
scan plus regular processing and the 2nd is using Silver Efex Pro:
selected "High Structure" filter
Dunno what "High Structure" means just yet, still taking baby steps doing
the "monkey see/monkey like" thing.
@Attila, I thought you hated B&W, anyway!

I guess it's an artsy word for microcontrast
Sometimes also referred as "texture"
Does this program allow the choice of not adding grain with the film presets? _________________ Orio, Administrator

It probably does, I just need to wade in and see. There are all kinds of filters
plus manually adding styles, etc. I haven't even looked at the tools section.
Thanks, "texture" fits quite well to what it does. |

Great shots Bill.
With your shots under the bridge, the main thing I see is that the 2nd looks like it's been sharpened.
I've used this software and it is fairly useful. The colour one is really good and I tend to use that quite a bit. _________________ Casual attendance these days |

I also get addicted to it.
I like black and white pictures (from others mostly) since I am photographing. But I never reached a good quality level in my film days.
With digital some of my shots processed with Photoshop or Rawshooter are good in black and white. But some others did´t looked good enough in that black and white (I am not a Photoshop pro user).
But now with Silver Efex Pro I could get tmostly the results I need - and black and white is fun now.
Some examples on my page:

http://4photos.de/galerie/Architektur/slides/Bei-St-Nikolai-Hamburg.html - I think Rokkor 58 iris closed to ~ 2.8 or more
http://4photos.de/galerie/Architektur/slides/Kirche-St-Nikolai-Hamburg.html -this one with Rokkor 58/1.2 full open
http://4photos.de/galerie/Akt/slides/Stark.html - with Rokkor at 1.2 too _________________ Camera modification, repair and DIY - some links to look through: http://www.4photos.de/camera-diy/index-en.html
