The Tokina is longer, but the Sigma is wider (I expect the MF version to be a bit smaller).
I have a Minolta AF mount version, so I use it with the Sony LA-EA4 adapter , and AF works fine. The AF adapter itself is quite bulky so a weight and size advantage is not really there, compared to the Tokina.

You could use it also with a manual M(AF) to Sony E adapter, but focusing will be a bit of a pain.
