Well, yes, great castle and great shots (- but overHDRed that it even beats oversaturated picture postcards...sorry, IMHO)

Good shots of a good subject. But I think the processing has spoiled them, like Klaus says, it's a bit too much.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes they are a little OTT regarding the processing and I admit I do go a little too far with it sometimes but it does brake from the norm LOL. It's like having a guitar amp where the dials go up to 11.....I'm usually at 11 Very Happy

A bit more restraint in future i think!!! Wink

I too am with Klaus in thinking these have been pushed too far. OK for some tastes, but definitely not mine. Shame the pictures are basically great

They're excellent pics Andy, the camera/lens combo looks great. Just you went a little too far on the processing for some tastes, which is very easily done with HDR. Often, less is more with HDR, a lesson it took me ages to learn, so don't be disheartened.

Made for eye catching, think about art rather than copy of reality all time Smile

I love these shots
With the processing tuned down just a tad they would have been perfect

The processing is not my cup of tea...and I like contrasty and saturated colors ...but definitely beautiful place, and yes, nice shots .I'd like to see also the not-overdone variants. Smile , even some bw nicely done Wink

Agree.

Compositions are nice. Processing is a bit OTT for my taste. I'm not sure there's enough dynamic range issues in this scene to warrant the use of HDR. I'd go back to the RAW files and have another go. I think you should stick with saturated colours though... just not as saturated as they are here.

On the good side, differently from many HDRs, shadows have not been eliminated, this is good.
On the bad side, the values of clarity and contrast are way too high, at least for me.
These should be relaxing countryside scenes, but they make my eyesight feel dizzy.
Having that said, the other stuff, like composition, feels very good to me.

In that case, maybe go all the way to paint Wink
