This lens is ugly, but produces beautiful pictures! All pictures below are straight out from the camera without any PP.

Nice! They would look even better when taken in RAW and with some PP. This reminds me to try out one of those Xenons (the 25mm f/0.95 Xenon was WAY too big for the Q, at least the oversized version I had and sold).

Nice images, I particularly like the nighttime street scenes, the one of the butcher chopping up meat is probably my favourite. I am considering a Q just to be able to use some tiny unusual lenses. Smile

Very OT: Look at the picture of the butcher. Looks like he has an arm and a leg on that table Shocked

+1 PP is essential to most lenses and absolutely mandatory with small sensors to get better experience.

But would that be a bit too artificial after pp? I like the original "taste" of these old lenses more than the color, contrast, sharpness, etc. Just my personal preference, I guess. Very Happy Very Happy

Me not, most of them looks dead, due less contrast. PP help on them to look fresh, certainly matter of taste , right.

For a small sensor the Kern Switar 13mm f.0,9 is the fast alternative.

The fat 25 and 50 Schneider 0,95 are designed to cover far more than the double-8 frame that the D-mounts are intended for.
