Thanks Suat,
I have only 3 enlarger lenses, and really not knowning much about russians, ddrs, jenas, and none tv lens.

The man and the building look super sharp to me.
The robe is sharp but seems to have some glow.

If you see anything glow, I think its wide open. still it show some detail.
A Stopped down will improve in sharpness. What I didnt expect was infinity detail, it really amazed me, as this was built for darkroom stuff.
BTW what enlarger do you have? and what mount? I like to know more about this kind

I have 2 nikkors EL: a 50/2.8 and a 80/5.6. Can't remember the last, it's german.
I have never tried with digital as I am very unfamiliar with these.
Ordering a nex adapter from eby will take 6-8 weeks, but I am not sure which one.

For macro use, I have also several bellows: MD-mount with tilt and rotate, other are straight bellows: m42, OM and PK mount,
tilt adapter for nex, and various size for reverse mount.

I need to find a guide to use these - haven't got time to get into macro world yet.

It's an enlarging lens, optimised for 10:1 magnification.

enlarger lenses mounted on a bellows, are outstanding for macro work. Im surprised they work as well as you
show here for infinity usage.

One caveat with using enlarging lenses as taking lenses is that since they werent designed to be used with 3 dimensional
targets, they often only have 5 blade diaphrams and this can cause ugly bokeh.

serkol; thats nice picts Wink
hifisapi; Sometimes I use enlarger to find "different" kind of bokeh. Maybe you think its ugly. Well. I think it's subjective Very Happy
another sample of rodagon, wideopen

this is with Schneider Componon 40/4 stopped down

see how in the stopped down version, there is obviously a 5 blade diaphram in use causing
pentagon out of focus blurring. I dont like that.

Like I said before. it's subjective. I know you won't like it Smile
I'm not using it often. but its nice to see different kind of bokeh.

Great results Suat, it has may be not the best bokeh but it doesn't matter, it's a great little lens to use for closed-up/macro and it's fun to use Smile ...

Enlarger lenses can perfectly mounted to a cam by using the VNEX system.
One of our members has developed it and will report about it pretty soon, I guess.

EDIT: He just did >> http://forum.mflenses.com/apo-rodagon-n-2-8-50mm-on-sony-nex-7-via-vnex-focus-system-t54268.html
