Indeed Indianadinos... should provide you guys with a bit of a personal presentation. Smile

My name is Olivier, and I live in the Alps part of France, at the Swiss border close to Geneva.

Have started photography few years ago and rapidly became addict... One of my fav subjects are thunderstorms, which we tend to chase as you do in the US, but on a shorter scale I suppose Wink

Am the happy owner of a 5dmkII, equiped with various optics, such as 17-40, 70-200 f4, tokina 24-70 2.6-2;8 on the digital side, and Yashica 50 1.7, 28mm 2.8, 135 2.8, Zeiss 50 1.7, Zeiss 50 1.4 on the old-fashion style... + the 135mm currently on sale to fund a new apn... ( and I must admit i've found much of the information I needed in here, to find my way through the M42 and else subtilities of mixing old lenses to digit. mounts jungle Wink)

Some of my shots can be found here, where you'll find complimentary pictured illustration of the rest of my short resume.... Wink

Hello!

Shipping from France to Portugal shouldn't be a problem, thanks EU! Wink

Concerning the price, and after double checking on the bay, the lowest existing price for the lens is $1500 (i.e 1050). Asking for 900 euros + shipping given the excellent condition of the product would make sense...

Talk to you soon,

Cheers,

Olivier

Thanks Olivier. As you said you are really close to Geneve I didn't know if you are 100% in France hehe.

Unfortunally the price is too high for me right now. Best luck selling it!

Regards,
Ivo

Hello Olivier!
What is the serial number?
We, Zeiss addicts, have a strange need to know the S/N before buying...

Your thunderstorm photos are amazing!

Dear all,

First of all, thanks a lot for your comments on my shots! Smile I unfortunately did not have enough spare time to update regularly the past few months, but don't hesitate to visit again, this shall be fixed soon Smile

Regarding the S/N, should have put it straight away Wink its: 5976296

I was impressed by the photo...
But I already have one.
What I had forgotten is the fact that it is in mint condition (almost).
And the serials are very close (5.86X.XXX).

So, better save money because the colapse of the global financial system is imminent...

please help me to understand this:
if the financial system collapses the worth of money would gravitate towards 0, which would not make it a smart move to rather keep money, no?

You are correct, in general.

However, I can only buy my medication in cash.
Which means I need to have some savings in case I get fired,
or the country goes bankrupt, or changes its currency, or the Euro collapses altogether, or...

Imagine a dialogue at the pharmacy:
"How much insulin would you give me for this rare Zeiss lens?".
Black humor...

it's sad..but I remember a violin in my family which nobody knew to play, until it was given to a grandchild some 10 years ago. During WWII someone 'from the city' had come to trade it for a few kgs of meat

Guys, stick to the topic, or go to Dive Bar.
Stick to the topic means PM to the seller.

Dear all,

In light of new financial needs, price is lowered to 750 Euros, hence 30% off of street price... Shocked

Any takers?

Cheers,

Olivier
