Davidus, that's a beauty !!!
It looks like those fairy castles whose towers raise out of the fog.

It's a real chance to have such views.
Really nice for relaxation and meditation.

Thank you. Very Happy

What a picturesque city! I must visit some day Smile All shots are, as already mentioned, superb and postcard-esque, but that last one is really unique Cool

Very cool pictures, but very small. Maybe I'm getting old Rolling Eyes but my eyesight has trouble with such small pictures.

Thanks a lot.

Orio - If you click on picture, you can see it greater. I think 1200x800 pix is enough. What's your screen resolution?

Ohhh... me and my wife visited Prague twice within a year, a week each visit and everything in that city just sure stole my heart. Food, beer, architecture, people, sights etc.. *sigh*

That said, nice pictures here! :-)

larsr - Thanks. Prague is really nice, indeed.

So now a little different view. Today was not so good clarity as you can see in castle and cathedral. A bit PP because of it. Tammy again. Click to enlarge.

You should also know, why I can take such pictures (except last one). I'm for almost 8 years member of Norbertine community in Strahov Monastery (Norbertine or Prenmonstratensian Order - knows under both names). So that's the reason Wink

Beautiful pictures from one of my favourite cities, last one looks to be nearly in Vysehrad?

PostPosted: Thu Dec 03, 2009 7:23 am    Post subject: Reply with quote

I'm pleased you know this place. It's straight from wall of Vysehrad.
So now yesterday morning from my window again. Tamron 28/2.5.

i love your angle, really good view of lovely city

I am so envious. The view outside my window is of my neighbor's unkempt house across the street. Sad If I look out a back window, it's just a fenced-in back yard with a two-story apartment set behind it. Boring and ugly. I would have to travel for hours, probably days, before I could find anything with the same beauty as your photos.

As to photo quality -- your first two images, especially the second -- are so nice and sharp that, if I didn't know better, I'd be thinking they were at least medium format. Fantastic!

Thanks, it's a privilege of old towns, of course.

BTW As I see, I would have to buy some medium format camera Cool
