Since we talked about this today, let's gather here our best street and road photos.
Let's use thumbnails if larger than 900.
I begin with some old ones of mine.
Please open the thumbnails if you're interested, all of the photos meaning is gone if you don't. Note that you will also have to click on the image that appears in order to see the full size.

10 street shots from November.
I define ‘Street shots’ as images showing people going about their everyday life. Observations of the people that are all around us.
IMO it is an interesting subject. All people are interesting and if an image can capture or conjure up an impression of their life, it is good.
I would like the street images I do to pose a question or in some way give the viewer food for thought. I prefer BW for my street images as colour can often be distracting, the content of the picture should speak for itself and colour should not be needed.
The best images I see from other people really make me think, perhaps laugh or in some way make me appreciate the people I share this world with.
In theory good street shots should be the easiest thing in the world to take. They are only simple images of everyday life that is all around us.
I also believe they can be posed, or the subject can be aware you are taking photos but of course the idea would not be to do a smiling snapshot!

For me street photography is whatever can be seen from or on a street/road. Not necessarily people, but also objects, animals, whatever happens to be there. If I had to restrict it to people, I would call it "people photography".

Regardless of definitions, a very nice set of pics, Orio! My faves are the first one, the couple/dogs on the bridge, the runners (superbly caught action and that chick is buff!) and the last one, view from the rear view, well caught!
