planar seems to be a superb lens portrait lens for short distance

I like the unusual composition, and of course the Planar is the Planar - it actually looks like it could be a closeup taken with a wide angle lens, the effect is really unusual like i said - I like it, it is an image with a strenght which is a nice contrast with the very sweet subject.

Great shot. I really like my 50 1.4. I know the 1.7 is supposed to edge it in sharpness terms but I find the colours quite pleasing.
