Very nice Orio,
.. and this photo shows that all rules in photography exist because we can "rewrite" them .... the sky is so real, so 3D that fills in the best way the composition of the image. Well done!

But i can't resist .. about leaning ..... we need a "Curtagon like" lens (or super Angulon ... you know i am a Leica R funboy)....

Buona giornata,
roby

Terrific shot, but for me I have an engineering problem in that leaning buildings annoy me and would prefer shots like Canaletto's paintings (with no leaning buildings).....maybe a pano would have solved the problem.

The unparallel geometry is not caused by the lens, it's caused by me tilting the camera.
I could correct it easily, but I choosed to keep the slanted perspective because the converging lines direct the viewer's attention
on to the sky - which was my purpose. Smile

Yes,
right .... the slanted perspective helps for the purpose and i was not serious about the lens performance Wink I have a wooden field camera 4x5" (that lies in a bag with some good lenses) and sometimes i really feel the lack of tilt and shift ... this was the real reason of my words.

O.T.: the 5D MKII with 100mm Apo Leica R really shines

My screen is too small I can not see it as its meant to be seen Sad However from what I can see... it is stunning,it would look beautiful hanging on a wall.

These are amazing shots, that light, the color, the contrast, the sky + clouds!!
