Both owned by member Pich900, who kindly lent them to me to test. Interesting lens with a fast f/stop. It does vignette more than the 25mm f/1.4 Kern Switar, however.

Sorry, no moon shots! (Exactly this lens was used for the first high-resolution pictures of the moon; it flew on board of the Ranger 7 in 1964 until it crashed into the moon).

Your photos look fantastic!

Do you happen to have a picture of the lens mounted on the camera?

Love the colors & the portraits. No wonder it went to the moon.

Great shots Peter! You made good use of that lens so the obvious vignetting gets less obvious
(except in the first picture - LOL). Kidding aside the lens renders images very well and the shallow DOF
adds to the composition a lot, surely a(nother) fine portrait lens!

Well, no doubts here: the Angénieux is sharper than the Switar. But it's also more expensive, isn't it?

Yes, the A. fetches quite some money comparable to the Switar 1.1/36mm, so you should be happy.... or get a G1 and keep it!!
