For sale a Meyer-Optik Goerlitz Primagon 4.5/35 with an aperture with 10 blades.
M42 mount. Preset type lens (f/4.5 to f/22), Minimum focusing distance 40cm.
Near to the "Primagon" name there is a strange marking, a "1" written over a "0" and above something like an underscore. I ignore the meaning.
According to my Meyer book, this lens was built in year 1959, in a mixed M42/Praktina batch of 1300 exemplars.

This copy is in a more than acceptable aesthetical condition (some paint wear on the black edge of the barrel).
Mechanical and optical conditions are excellent.
The glasses are clear and free from scratches and fungus. On the beautiful large front glass there are a very few, very short, and very thin and faint cleaning marks, nearly invisible. These are only visible under angled strong light and are absolutely of no relevance whatsoever (most sellers would not even mention them. I do mention them because I care). You always need to expect these on a large front glass of 52 years.

I sell this lens for 70 Euros, which is something like 15-20 Euros less than current Ebay average prices for the M42 copies of this lens.
Please ask for the shipping cost.

Very good lens, one of the best from Meyer.

The circled out "1" means "1st class export quality" in former "GDR speak" and it is a quality label - for the best they had!!
