I agree! As far as the two images, I like the old man standing among
the columns the most. It REALLY shows timeless view, as the columns
are no doubt quite old. I also like the scale exemplified by the man
under those columns. For me, this one really moves forward to my eyes,
possibly because of the massiveness of the building.

yes, it makes the man (every man, mankind) feel small, isn't it?
Just like standing in front of a huge Sequoia.
The building is mediaeval, so yes, it is very old, based on the stone decorations I's say somewhere around 12th-13th century.
I will check if there is a label with the date next time I go there.
