Non-scientific wide-open shots with several 50mm lenses

I haven't told this in my original post, but I also made shots at f/2, f/5.6 and f/11 in exactly the same circumstances of the same subject. Would you be interested to see them too?

I actually think the Industar out performed the Yashinon. The Industar is a cheap little lens so it's really not expected to be a top notch performer. It looked O.K for being a 20.00 lens.

For me the SMC tak 1.4 pic is the best, I love the bokeh.
Pancolar would follow...

I have the SMC-A F1.7 on my K10D and love it, but the 1.4 version really gives diferent bokeh at full aperture.

SMC takumar is a great lens (not as the pancolar, but.... Laughing )

Cool down guys, here are my rules. You have accepted them by posting in this topic Laughing

Rule #1. SMC Takumar lenses are the best lenses ever.

Rule #2. If you encounter a bad SMC Takumar lens, see rule #1.

Thats the funny thing about bokeh everyone has a diferent taste. Its not like sharpness which can be measured.

And btw the tak is a beautifull lens, unlike some zeiss I could mention.. Laughing
I agree with that rule, send any awfull taks to me too.

I think the problem is theres so many good 50mms that unless it really top class or top badge it gets little notice.
