I have been working on a Roman and Byzantine fortress on the Danube called Noviodunum since 2000. I have also been working on various other aspects of Romanian archaeology since 1992. I first went to Constanta in May or June 1993, and have been there at least once most summers since 2000. If you check out my flickr photostream (nickname 'noviodunum') you'll find a fair few shots of Romania and Constanta.
Best wishes, Kris. _________________ Kris Lockyear

The K17 has built in filters and I think I used the orange one for this shot.
Thanks all. K. _________________ Kris Lockyear

Wow, I did not know you are archaeologist. I'm very interested!
I'm curious about this Romanian Noviodunum, I thought that this name was used only in Gallia (it is of Celtic origin as you surely know). _________________ Orio, Administrator
