Yea, I will need to verify myself.
He said that the coating on the late era pre Ai washed out color compared to the previous non muticoated versions.

Sounds crazy in theory.
Maybe its contrast related but the additional coatings should improve contrast.

Anyway, I have a 50 1.4 S and a 50 1.4 SC that I will shoot head to head on the same roll and see what gives.
