For me, it's not always about technical perfection or perfect framing or the correct colors or the subject being perfectly in focus - of course, depends on the situation/subject you're photographing. Some images look like crap if it's blurry and some images look better since they're blurry and so forth

For me, the interestingness of a picture does it and this one scores well on that front - the framing, colors and being well focused do help here

I've been using this lens recently as well. It back focuses a bit on my D3000 but I still love it.

I have the same lens and have had major issues with it on my D3200. Agree it's a good lens but up until now didn't know this focussing problem was common.

riddance77 , you are the difference between an excellent photographer and someone using a top notch gear but with poor skills.
Whatever camera and lens you use i'm absolutely sure that you can do beautiful photos like the wonderful ones you publish in this thread.
