Almost a pancake lens. Beautiful.
With all these new Zeiss lenses, it would be a good time to own a M-mount camera.

Well, there is the Bessa or the Epson (for a digital solution) but they are pretty expensive (even though they are the cheapest M mount solution) or may be an older M Leica.

I have the RD-1 and that ZM Zeiss glass (25mm, 35mm, 50mm) and it is amazingly good, esp. teh 35mm!!

...now traded and "someone" here enjoys the RD-1 + ZM 35mm!!

They only produced 10000 exemplars Sad

I can not understand why a manufacturer like Voigtlaender does not produce a digital rangefinder like this one at an acceptable price. The technology is there, it shouldn't be a problem, and I bet that a lot of people would buy one if it was in the price segment between 500-1500 Euros
