Awesome images, I really like what you are doing. I like the sky, so if I were to crop, I'd crop from the bottom only ... um, which is exactly what you did _________________ -Jussi

I'm not sure to understand what you mean by paper negative: do you brush a sheet of paper with B&W emulsion
then load it into a large format camera instead of film?
And how you do print it positive then? _________________ Orio, Administrator

I believe I do understand. I cherish that idea myself. For that project I recently obtained the wooden camera 13x18cm.
Idea is to use the BW photo paper as the negative film. And then to scan it by the scanner, and to invert it into the positive image, say, by special option in the Photoshop. _________________ "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept" - © H. Cartier Bresson |

Alex got this right
I used standard b&w darkroom paper insted of film and this gives me a mirrored b&w negative which I have scanned and then edited in the computer.
Have a little post about this on my blog:
http://blog.bkspicture.com/how_to_Use_a_Large_Format_the_cheap_way.html
Here you can read how the fog or paint effect is made as well:

Many thanks you all for the nice feedback! _________________ Homepage: http://www.bkspicture.com/

Haven't tested this yet but you could be able to use this in a enlager with bigger f/stop and really long exposure. _________________ Homepage: http://www.bkspicture.com/
