I have always loved this one Russ.
Care to let us in on the film and possible filters you used?
It looks like IR but maybe with a low NM filter (R25 or so?).

Nice!

A winner/keeper with with every frame? Hardly. But. just because it's small format, I'm not a machine gunner. If I like it, I snap it. I can burn two or three rolls in a day, or go out all day, and not pull the trigger at all. As for "The Watcher" snap, it was burned on Kodak HIE B/W IR film through a deep red #29 filter with the Viv Series 1 24-48 glass. William refer's to me as the visionless hack. Sad

Delta 100 snap.

"Visionless hack?" I didn't say that, did I? Well if I did I was having one
of my envy attacks, so there. Laughing

Man, I really love the tones in the last shot, the grave and mountain
range behind it. Delta 100 look purdy good in 35, tew.

If you didn't say it, you sure were thinking it. Razz That old grave was shot on Delta 100 ( ie @80) through an orange and polarizing filter.

Neopan 400 film.

Vietnamese Girl at Vietnam Memorial Wall was shot on standard Neopan 400 (non-C-41 process) and I believe it was souped in X-Tol. I love Neopan 400 film. Shot with 28mm glass. And for whatever reason, the Neopan 400 scans very well too. Beautiful tonal range and much finer grain than Tr-X and HP-5.

I just ordered a bunch of Legacy Pro 400 (rebadged Neopan) from
Freestyle, can't wait to try it.

Nice results, Russ.

i, too, like the looks of the neopan. oh, for fingers that work well in the dark, with actual subtle tactile ability ...

Paul, I have no problem with the Paterson tank and reels, very easy
to load. Just an idea...

i cannot describe how frustrating is the lost of fine motor skills. i can do rough work - like loading a camera - well enough in good light. but goodness, to feel a strip of film onto a reel while not looking? gives me a tight stomach to think about.
i used to fish at least 5-10 minutes for 300 days or more a year. but when the neuropathy hit, and it took me minutes to tie a lure onto 4-pound monofilament instead of a few seconds ... very little fishing for me now.
