Here is a quick pano shot I made this afternoon, you can see my hometown wiehl near cologne in the middle of western Germany.

Pentax K10D + Leitz Elmarit 135.

I am still trying to get the best possible results in post processing.

nice! You could have darkened it a bit and enhanced the contrast, that would even bring out the warm lights more intensely...just IMHO.
(IMHO = in my humble opinion)

Looks almost like where I live in Norway Wink

Is this what you call a "dorf" ?

I like the vista but it looks muddy IMO.
Here is my try, if you don't mind

i think that the published photo has some heavy HDR or shadow filling, that compressed the histogram significantly in the left end, removing the black almost completely.
Therefore, darkening this version would also produce an unreal result, because the dark values do not look balanced anymore.

I tend to like the original best, even though I agree the contrast looks weak. The full size version has superb detail. Well done.

I didn't know it's possible to use Leica R lenses with K mount cameras.

Thank you all.

Finally this is it:

PS you can use Leica R Lenses on K-Camera by changing the bayonette. Have a look at leitax.com.

Timo , please try to restore the warm lights , if you can , on the last version , you've lost a good deal of the atmosphere along with the whithening the yellow lights.I preferred the first one.
Good shot ,it tells me something : "it's good to be here on Christmas" Laughing
Frohe Weihnachten !!!
