Today I bought, on a booth, this lens to fit on a Zenit E.
Some small scratches on lens but all 3 rings are smooth.
The lens has its original bell and the original instruction sheet (in russian, of course).
Price? 20€
Any information abouot this lens?
Seller says me that I can order any russian lens from him. The only problem is that I have to wait his return until next spring.
Any suggestions about russian cheap lens to order? Laughing

Other lenses: Helios made a number of interesting lenses, including the cheap 44 (2/5Cool, a 1.5/85 or so, and a fisheye still in production.
Jupiter 2/85 is another very appreciated lens. Also 3.5/135 has good consideration (Zeiss clone), and not much expensive. I read also of Tair 135.
And many others (look also for Industar, Volna).
Not all are cheap, however. Some of them are overpriced now (e.g. 85mm).

MC Mir-24H (Nikon mount) or MC Mir-24M (M42), 35mm f/2; don't bother with non-MC versions; 60-100 EUR;

Mir-10A (28/3.5, M42, A-mount) for 40-60 EUR;

MC Jupiter-9 (85mm f/2; M42 version; MC copies better in absolute terms but have higher QC variation than older versions) for 60-100 EUR depending on condition;

MC Jupiter-37AM (135/3.5; don't get older versions, the MC is the best; no significant QC problems with this lens; M42 A-mount installed by default) for 30-50 EUR;

Tair-11A (135/2.8; M42, A-mount) for up to 80 EUR;

Jupiter-21M (200/4; exists in M42 only) 40-60 EUR;

MC Industar-61L/Z (50/2.8, M42, semi-macro, Tessar clone, "L" stands for lanthanum glass) for up to 40 EUR;

MC Volna-9 (50/2.8, 1:2 macro) for up to 80 EUR;

MC Helios-44M-7, MC Helios-44M-6, MC Helios-44M-4, or non-MC MC Helios-44M, MC Helios-44M-4, MC or non-MC Helios-44M-3, in this order; (58mm f/2) for 15-20 EUR;

Helios-77M (up to 30-40 EUR), Zenitar 50/1.9 (up to 30 EUR) or Zenitar 50/2 (up to 25 EUR), image quality in this order;

MC Mir-20M (M42) or MC Mir-20H (Nikon) (20/3.5; don't bother with non-MC versions) for up to 100 EUR.
