Yes, I use film, No 2, 7 and 8 are Superia 100, others are Ektar 100.

I think there would be better (more ) color saturation if shot on digital rather than film.

#2 looks like it could be a retro marriage, photo taken in the early 60s. Smile
Very sexy wife by the way...

I dont have NEX, the only digital camera I have is alpha 580, which cant use MD lens normally.
Next time I will try some motion pictures film, so we can have a better color saturation. Confused Sad

This version of the lens does not have macro. Truth?

Minolta MD Rokkor 35-70 f3.5 - both of mine are Macro - 1:4 to 1:7 - it's close focus in reality, but still very good. There is a non macro version which I've never tried. I think this lens is just about one of the best walkabout lenses you can get, it's just so versatile.

Nice shots, there is a color cast in in a few shots that digital makes very easy to fix.
Was using my Leica version the other day on my A7r, seems to be a great match.

An excellent series to show how scanned film images can more than compete with digital. If they were my pics I think I would like to manipulate the colours in one or two, but overall very good indeed, well done! My favourite is the old tram.

Also great lens choice, this is my walk-about lens too.

Very nice results. I have the 4/35-70 AF and it is similarly great although the design is different. However, the 3.5-4.5/28-85 AF is better and therefore maybe the MD 3.5-4.5/28-85 is better than this lens? The AF 3.5-4.5/35-105 is also superb, for my money a tiny shade behind the 28-85, no idea if that was also available in an MD version; I'm speaking of the first generation AF lenses from 1985, what people colloquially refer to as the 'beercan' series.
