This lens has one of the best price-performance ratio. I paid for mine in unused condition 10 € - unbelievable.

Great great series. Nice lens, and a walk down memory lane for me. I spent a lot of time in Milano in the 70's - 80's. The biglietteria was a favourite place to go, even though the best tickets/concerts are usually sold to "insiders". Very Happy Very Happy Once made the mistake of trying to get into a Pollini concert.

I love this lens, and the photos too. Here's one for sale for EUR 35 and do not buy it because I think performance is similar to the Sonnar 180 2.8 P6. Although I would like to make a comparison.
Greetings & Congrats

Nice shots. Is that lens as big and heavy as it looks?

well ... unfortunately in Italy they are quite rare; got mine on internet for 35 eur and not in optimal conditions (barrel's signs and focus ring little bit stiff), but glasses are 100% ok

looking at 100% crops, it shows an exceptional sharpness Wink

not so big .. well, I'm used to 70-200 f/4 and it is more or less same lenght; but .. yes, it is heavy!!

it has same 'feeling' as a single piece of metal Laughing , using it handheld "guarantees" continuous shaking, but also gives you a lovable sensation of solidity

yes it does; rear lens is quite far from ring, so absolutely no risk to hit against mirror, even on full frame cameras

i choosed the 10D because markIII has an exceptional IQ and it compensates eventual flaws of the lense, while 10D gives high quality pictures only if lense is hq too .. so it is a better test field Wink

look at these two 100% crops:

Dab, the Jupiter-21 is a very good lens. I used it a lot. Now I use it less because I rarely shoot this long focal lenght (normally don't go above the 135mm lenght). But I understand why you like it.

Instead, Jupiter-21M (980g) can search for Jupiter-21A (740g) - it is easier.
