The willow buds are beautiful, a very nice picture! The sharpness is great here, while the other ones appear a bit blurred, or am I mistaken?

Greetings

I am not sure thay made a better macro lens than this one. Obviously arguable, but it is one of the best values out there right now

Beautiful "look" to these images, Richard! It's got to be a damn fine lens!

Love the blossoms!
Incredible how the trees there bloom one month before they do here.

I think it's the compression - they seem sharp where they're in focus on the originals.

Thanks - these are particularly early in sheltered suburban spots. The Blackthorn is generally only just flowering and the bulk of the Cherry isn't quite out yet. Apple will be quite a while yet.

@Richard_D

Ah, that explains it.

The Micro 55mm F3,5 amazes me everytime again. I´ve been waiting for my copy (a Nikkor-P from around 1970) for almost 4 weeks now, since GLS (the postal service) messed it up. In the tracking system, the status is "wrong adress, waiting in delivery centre", but the adress is completely right, and I´m just sitting here, waiting.

Greetings
Benedikt

Mines early 70's (AI'd). The pre-AI ones tend to be significantly cheaper, but just as good optically. If it's pre-AI you can pick up the M2 (or is it K2?) tube to give 1:1 for next to nothing or a dearer PK13 for AI/AI'd versions.

M2 - the K's are a set of 4 rings. K1 is one of the smallest made by nikon. An invaluable group if you see one.
