Quick walk, grey weather, some sunrays came through as well as a rain shower...

Open aperture, f2.8 or f4 being used, you'll certainly recognize that.

Colors are great. For better or for worse the lens looks like a glow king.

I like its impressionistic rendering (and bokeh), hence why I selected those examples.

It has great colors indeed, that others have issues with:

That glow rapidly disappears when stopping down btw., see here:

Nice painter indeed, never been my favorite lens, a bit remind me to Trioplan excellent for some special purpose , not a general shooter at wide open , stopped down same than any other good one I think. Nice presentation , especially flowers what I like in series.

Poppies rock, impressionist feeling indeed. I even went over some Monet paintings to refresh my memory.

Nice pictorial effects, my favourites however are #3 a d #4 which look definitely cinematic,
very very good framing and idea!

Thanks Orio! Actually that shot into the sun was (also) meant as a stress test for the lens and
that contra lucem shot of the dangling Wisterias to see if and how much structure will get lost
due to flare. In both that lens did quite well.
