Thanks! What about the price? It seems very low to me for a 35mm, but I am no Meyer expert.

What a shame! They are beautiful objects. Mine even came with a beautiful original Meyer leather hard case - probably worth the 15 Euros alone in any flea market.

I must agree, considering that for 15 Euros I got:
- a nice 35mm old lens in perfect optical condition
- an extension tube for macro work
- a very nice original leather case with Meyer logo press-printed on it
But the seller I bought it from, has no fault, he is not a lens seller, he sells many things and got this lens from a person. He does not know anything about photography.

Do you have any idea of how old in the Meyer serial numbers?

Thanks Bob. Your info coincides with what I have found. My 5D went to the barbershop. So now I can shoot this and other lenses at infinity
