When I was shopping for a Yashica TLR recently, I pretty much struck the 124G off my list.

Yeah, I was lucky there, it was September 2007, before the G madness started. I paid £66.00 plus P&P. I don't think there is anything very special about it over the 124. Gold contacts?? What difference do they make in a mainly mechanical camera? And the sexy black finish of course! It was a bit used and worn but nothing serious, just paint wear and a small dent on the rim of the winding handle. A new ground glass screen would be nice too.
