Martyn - that's a really incredible pile of lenses!. It is obvious that you put a lot of passion and a lot of yourself in amassing such a collection. And kudos to steve for agreeing to make sure they find good homes - it will be quite a task. For me, a big part of the fun of collecting and using classic lenses is knowing that there are people out there who appreciate the same things I do. Goodness knows there are enough people who think I'm nuts!!!! Shocked

Without wishing to pressurise Steve, he has told me he is 'almost finished' with the list, bless him. Sorry Steve, had to say something! You are doing such a tremendous job.

I vaguely remember there being a list, or part of a complete list of sorts at one time. From memory there wasn't anything of any great value on it.

Most amazing to me is that nine years have already passed.

It was my fault he got into this! We worked together for a while and ended up having a discussion about quality of results from various kit. I had a 5D and a bunch of MF lenses, Martyn had a Fuji superzoom (HS10 I think) and another colleague had a Nikon D3s with some rather expensive zooms.

Needless to say, he became interested in some of the lenses I owned (and the cost Very Happy) and off he went. He had a lovely young daughter who must be about 18 now, incredible.
