fuji z200 on contax 167
best way to shot full frame : film
scanned with bellows, no grain reduction
still optimizing colors with ACR

planar 50:1.7

distagon 28:2 all wide open

distagon 25:2.8

market are a good place to practice, many people and nobody care when you shot

I am sure film is better than digital
the resolution is higher with film, I can better enjoy my lenses
The distagon 28:2 on crop wide open have soft border but with film full frame no problem
the same for all wide angle, digital sensor cannot match film on border
The bokeh is more nice with film, no abrupt like digital; even if you miss the focus, the shot is still pleasant
The dynamic range is huge; in full sun, I could easily recover the shadows
burned highlight are progressive, not hole like in digital
no sensor bloom and no chromatic aberrations on film
The color are nicer with film
The photo lab scan a film on cd for 4 euros but I prefer to do myself

Very nice results poilu, even with a negative film 200 ASA the detail is still there abundantly.
I also remember the excellent results of your other series with beach scenes, taken with the same film.
Your "scanning" method proves again to be excellent.
