Lightroom 4.1 update available.
It contains several news, the major being a new tool for colour fringes correction that features - hurrah hurrah! - purple AND GREEN correction!
It's the first program (that I know of) which contains a tool for correction of green fringing.
I will try it and report. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Absolutely.
Worth the price of all the upgrades I paid so far. A vital tool if you have very fast lenses. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Looks like a nice result but i still have to understand it better.
Now LoCAs aren't that much of a problem anymore.
Adobe has done something right, eventually.
The only thing i don't like is the fact that i can't choose the range by dialing the numbers in but i have to do it with the mouse, which is a bit annoying.
Am i missing something? |

JPEGs suck even on the 5DIII and i never shot JPEG in my life, seriously.
We got the option to store amazing raw files with our cameras and you don't even have the excuse of the space they take since HDD are widely available (altough they're not that cheap nowadays "thanks" to the floods in Thailand) .
So, shoot raw even for the most stupid and casual pictures, who knows how the softwares will improve in the future.
