how has no one mentioned the Tokina 90mm f/2.5 AT-X "Bokina"? (and Vivitar Series 1 90mm f/2.5) I find these lenses to be impressively sharp wide open.

I really had to get back and edit my post to add the Planar 2/135. Like I wrote, I had forgotten how stunningly sharp it can be wide open from close distance.
