I'm beginning to like this little Konica, and Kodak Ultramax is a decent film, especially when it's on sale at the drug store.

The first two are straight drug store scans; the third I had to lighten up as the default scan gave a nice sky and reflection, but everything else was in deep shadow.

Love that cat shot! They really seem to like nesting in baskets, don't
they? Excellent shots, all, and great colors from that film (bought 20
rolls of it today from CVS).

With my Konica C35auto (one without built in flash), it was the only camera out of three that I took to Ibiza that gave 100% success rate, the other SLRs results suffered from user error due to silly things e.g. forgot to set "safety shift" on a Canon T70 when camera shutter speed was set for sun, but camera used when getting dark.

For anyone else who is interested - the C35 regularly shows up on Fleabay and often sells for only a couple of pounds.

Well worth a punt I reckon.

As an example of how cameras used to be reviewed, a Popular Photography test report of the C35A from 1975.

Click on the image to go to the flickr page, where a 150dpi large/readable/printable version waits...

Interesting review of a great camera. Imagine dpreview or one of the other "big" internet reviewers completely stripping down (and reassembling) every camera they test... Smile

I love those little cams, and your samples are great.
The third one is my favourite.

Regards.
Jes.

Those pictures really makes me want to shoot with my Konica's.
Thank you for posting the lab report, that is the same exact model as mine.
