Bill yours are the best scans in this group in my opinion.
You should be hired by film companies to show how scanned film can look today.

The Kodak Gold 100 looks pretty nice from Katastrofo photos! Very Happy and they're also nice photos Wink

Anyhow, if i can throw in my personal preference, now i'm shooting Fuji Superia 400, it comes pretty cheap (about 2 euros for a 36pose roll) and have a fine grain and quite good colours (even though as for all films this comes after a decent development). I've tried some Fujicolor 100 aswell but i have to agree with Attila, not a good film.

Absolutely agree!

Wow, thanks guys, but I'm not doing anything special. This is the Epson
4490 like Orio has. I do run all the scanned files through Bibble first,
then work the files in PS. I'm only using the Epson software, too, easy
cheesey. All these shots were with my Konica T4 and UC Hexanon zoom
except the last shot was with the macro-Hexanon.

I tried the ektar
absolutely no visible grain
I still have to tune the color
sample from ektar
+ a shot with he 40D at the same moment

ektar

40D

I think Ektar colors are more accurate than any not fully developed digital image. Normally it takes me about half an hour of post processing to get something comparable with film from a digital image.

Many thanks for excellent presentation Poilu!

Poilu, it has the "turquoise sky syndrome" which I've been told is the
minilab's fault. Some places just don't know how to process this film.
I know Wallies doesn't. Mad

@Spiralcity: cool shots!

Thanks for being kind. Smile
Those are just some street snapshots, the only images I have on file using Kodak Gold. I mostly shoot with Reala 100.

Your images are superb and the scanning is quite nice.

They made me want to remove my samples. Shocked Very Happy Cool
