This is the very first shot I have scanned from my Pentacon Six since it was serviced and upgraded. It was shot on Fuji Reala with the Biometar 120 lens and scanned on the Epson V500.

To say I am happy with the performance of the camera now is an understatement.

Shocked WOW ... stereophonic ... total awe, the 3d is remarkable, so's the color

Thanks Smile

Here's another one from the same roll. Varkala has an important Hindu temple and the temple priests sit on the beach each morning conducting puja ceremonies for the faithful. There is a family carrying a fire on a banana leaf out to sea in the background.

I've got some others still to come.

Great shots, and I'm happy for you about the results! Smile

I've broken down and shipped my broken Pentacon Six (has a mirror broken during shipping and a faulty shutter probably resulting from mirror fragments in the mechanism) and Kiev-6C (mirror fails to fall down into place after winding 1 in 3-4 times) to Edward Smonov in NYC. Hopefully he can fix them so that I'll have a more reliable set of P6 mount bodies. God knows I have a fantastic set of P6 mount lenses (Arsat 30/3.5, Hartblei 45/3.5, Flek 50/4, Biom 80/2.8, Biom 120/2.8, Sonnar 180/2.8, all near mint, all with genuine hoods).

India is all colours. It's such a delight after the blacks, whites and browns of Arabia.

The next one is the Tank at Temple Junction in Varkala. It was a little late in the morning for this but I think it turned out reasonably well considering.

The faithful bathe from the steps on the far side before going up the flight above the road to the temple above. Unlike the others, I shot this for maximum DoF and the amount of detail in the neg is incredible.

Agree with above, all three are stunning, and I love those Reala colors!

Yeah, it's a great film.

Here's a shot from a houseboat to others on the Kerala Backwaters in southern India.

Thanks, Attila. India is incredible. I hope this won't be my last visit there.

Here's a traditional "holiday paradise" shot, it must have been with the 50mm Flektogon (which is coated, unlike my 120 Biometer):

It certainly seems as if the mega-expensive repair has delivered the goods.

Beautiful pictures, because of the place, the lenses, but above all, because of your great photographic eye.
Especially the two pictures of people on the beach, are visually charming and compelling.
Although of course you must understand that you are guilty for having deprived those people of their privacy Twisted Evil Laughing
