Sometimes I have to come here to show something, otherwise people may
not remember there is an odd ball lens like this M-mount Planar 45/2. Laughing

The lens is Andy's property, I have liberty to use temporarily for now.
However it will be a short period unfortunately. This lens is really a Zeiss. Very Happy

In chronological order, took them today 2008/10/23.

1) alteration shop next to the laundry shop we went (heavily cropped)

2) clothing store window

3) italian ristorante patio

4) toy or figure? in italian glass shop (Murano made) through thick glass

5) ditto

6) small ally (busy in night thou, slightly cropped)

7) plant (don't know its name, close focus)

7') 100%crop (this is an extra, people like 100% crop Cool )

8 ) damn pigeons @f5.6 to show DoF with digital camera

Camera used is M8, mostly @F2.8 ~ F5.6 (majority at f4 I guess), ISO160.
F-stop click is not there in this modified lens, its aperture setting moves
when you touch the lens carelessly. Anyway this lens is terrific!

This lens has one of nicest bokeh I think, it does not melt into unrecognizable
blob which people often prefer. Of course your taste is different.

I could not upload these images into large size gallery, actually I never succeeded
with any large images. What did I wrong?

Very nice samples from a great lens, Koji. I particularly like #6 and 7

About the image size, Attila has implemented an automatic resizer, so whatever picture you upload to this forum, is resized to 900x768 if larger.
This was done when the oversize gallery did not exist yet, so now that it exists I think it would be better to disable the resizer.

Excellent samples. They seem to have a certain "clarity" which one doesn't always see.

I think that the plant is a Heuchera - but there are lots of different species/varieties.
