I did found a new Red Army member today, one other left in shop with Red P let me know if you are interest to take it. If it will be still there one week later I will buy it for you. There is also another copy from latest ones, (I not recommend it)

Such a beautiful short lens, friend of mine did try it out on NEX he said awesome, might be I will buy an adapter too.

I expect average good quality, best ones are close to ww2 before 60. It will be good as most good SLR lenses OM, Nikon.

I have a jupiter 12 too(I used it on a Fed 5b) on the nex is too long: Hits the frame before the sensor, so with adapter it work only for close-up.

I thought to use it reversed because I think that is a symmetrical lens(perhaps is a biogon copy?).
Am I right?
I need even a little handcraft hood, to reduce the flares that come in(I've tried it only handheld)
(Sorry if my English is not correct)

You have right J12 is a Biogon copy and not usable on digital. easy to kill rare lens so be careful with reverse.

In case anyone thinks of buying a NEX adapter to mount the Jupiter-11, be careful that the adapter that can mount
the Jupiter-8, Jupiter-3 and Orion-15 can not mount the Jupiter-11, Jupiter-9 and Jupiter-12, due to different lens lock
construction (the J-12 also because of protruding rear).

I have j9 and j3(both with p red mark)+ j11, j12 and Industar22.
The only one that I can't mount on NEX is j12(that protuding rear as wrote Orio) and j9: can mount it but
cannot reach infinity focus(I think is only my fault copy). I think I need a turner for a little job with this one.
