Sure seems to be using stealth technology, can't detect it at all.

As the Topcon Club site says http://www003.upp.so-net.ne.jp/Topconclub/index.htm

"The 100mm lens covered the full time span from the first RE Super through the last of the Super Dm"

So there are surely some 100mm that were issued for the Navy....
Navy issued lenses are recognizable by an "infinity switch" not present on consumer lenses....

Navy issued or not, any RE, AUTO TOPCOR 2,8/100 is a great lens....

I'm still looking for a black 100mm...

Is this "infinity switch" for Navy goes for 100mm only or all Topcon Lenses?
My 50/1,4 also has it. I dont know what it is until I read this post.

Did you miss an 'N' on the name ring? RE AUTO TOPCOR N 1:2,8 f=100mm
I assumed it stood for NAVY.... I guess I was right, now that I can read one of the best sources of Topcon info...

According to the 'Topcon story'.
Quote:
"Lenses that were definitely produced for Military use were the 35mm(code 74B), 58/1.8(code 116BD), 100/2.8(code 75BD), and the 87-205 zoom (code 130BD)"

"All U.S. military lenses should be in chrome, and their decorative rings are engraved with a red"N"..."

This may be a new version:
http://kevincameras.com/gallery/v/topcon/lens/100_2.8/7516194/DSCN4807.JPG.html No 'N'
http://kevincameras.com/gallery/v/topcon/lens/100_2.8/7516194/DSCN4810.JPG.html But Infinity lock.
The Topcon Story says the last serial # was 7511339, but this lens is 7516194
