It was extremely lucky to survive. I am mostly a live and let live type (I escort spiders out of the house rather than kill them!) but with these I generally kill the vermin on site. They are EVIL! They will fly up land on you and bite you (unprovoked) then if they feel threatened they sting with a truly painful sting. They are EXTREMELY aggressive. When it warmed up and dried out it flew away.

I've also used it for portraits and it delivers interesting results
