Thanks Richard and Patrick, yes, this lens certainly did the deed this time!

Double thanks to you Orio, for pointing out the lens in the first place!

Here's the last two from yesterday:

I was thinking of your beautiful Italian fountain shots when I took this. This
is not as elegant, but nice.

Thanks for your comment. Smile

big difference between the 2 lens
for close up the sigma samples were very good
also in non flare situation like the jewel shop and the self portrait the lens did quite good job

Hi Bill,
I see you are not too far from me (I live in the Dallas, Ga area, about 35 miles from the Al state line)...Nice to see some pictures of the city posted as I've been entertaining a trip there in the not too distant future...I was up in Rome, Ga a couple of weeks ago looking for scenic areas as it was.

Man this is old home week.

I grew up in Chattanooga, my grandma is from Menlo Ga., my cousin lived in Huntsville and I spent some time there. These shots make me want to go back.

Smallish world

Yes, it is a small world after all...

Jules, I'm not from here, a fellow navy corpsman buddy and his wife talked
me into moving down here. It does get pretty in spring and summer!

LOL, You may not be from there but you are there now. If you haven't already done so, check out Chattanooga.

It's amazing. In one part of town they have brass dance steps imbedded in the concrete sidewalks so you can dance as you stroll from Bistro to coffee shop.

Fun stuff

Jules

I will, Jules, it's been a while since I've been to Chattanooga.
