Here´s some old (from 1985) pics I digitized with D700 body, extension rings and Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 Ai´d lens. Taken with the same Micro-Nikkor lens, Nikon FE film body.

The negs were put in a slide holder, emulsion side towards the lens. Converted then to .jpg, inverted in Gimp2 and PP´d in Capture NX2.

Inspired by Irving Penn and Giorgio Morandi.

#1. The Champions, Agfapan 25 film developed in Rodinal-S.

#2. Rust Never Sleeps #5. Kodak Pan-X film (ISO 32), developed in Rodinal-S

#3. After the race. Agfapan 25 film developed in Rodinal-S. Sorry, I forgot to flip the pic after digitizing.

#4. Untitled. Agfapan 25 film developed in Rodinal-S.

Very interesting! They remind me of some design compositions that I saw on design magazines that my father collected in the 50s and 60s.
I'd say go on with these, a fruitful route!

Thank You Orio,

I have to get a new box of junk, I lost them when I moved in 1986. Smile

Idea and execution excellent. I really like the fact that the Nikkor 55/3.5 was involved twice the making of these images.
