Hi!
I had some time yesterday late afternoon to play with my kids in our garden. The weather was still warm, almost hot, but great for photos.
...
All shot with the 350D and the Nikkor-H 1.8/85 @f4.
(The 350D because I still know this cam better when using MF lenses. I need to play around with the 40D a little more. If I only had the time! But soon...) _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

I guess he should start with a nice digital compact to learn about composition. Nele already has got one.
Digital cams provide a steep learning development and gain of experience due to the immediate feedback.
Then after a while, he should go from a Minolta Hi-matic F (excellent results, all automatic), to an Olympus 35RC and then to a nice SLR (perhaps a Spotmatic). Then finally, when he is old enough, he will get his first DSLR, of course one that he can use manual lenses with.
You see, everything is planned. _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!
