Found this little one in a box of jumble , attached to a plate labeled "acura" and gave it a try !
My smallest lens by far !
FOV is about 28-35mm it has a fixed iris of about f8 and the format it covers is quite large ( i can tilt it 30 degrees and still no dark sides projected on sensor)

Mounted straight onto a adapter infinity focus is possible by screwing the lens on its own thread (12mm diam) into the light it shows 5 reflections inside

shown compared to the 55mm tak

Mounted on the cam

infinity performance is not good with low contrast but there is some fungus on the front element
Some closer samples

No markings at all on the lens any ideas anyone ?

Perhaps a component of something larger?

Cute as a button and sharp as a tack. I wonder what it is...

Is this possibly a peephole for mounting into a door? Even then I'm gobsmacked by the lack of distortions...!

Laughing That was my first thought , but nothing is in focus peeping into either side of the lens.......

Wild guess..... is it the eyepiece you drop into a microscope?

I still have no clue , i managed to open and clean the lens
It is a very simple 3 element 3 group air spaced symmetrical design with 2 irises Shocked
Here is the lens dismantled

Don't you have a larger image? I'm not sure, but the central element looks a bit like cemented doublet Smile

Hi no-x
it looked like that on the pic , so i dismantled again and checked all elements
the middle element has a bevel cut on the one side , but def one solid piece off glass
on closer inspection i see that the outer elements have a perfectly flat inside, not curved as drawn on my pic, will update that
