Love that portrait. When this lens works it is one of the best - takes work to get used to it.

#1 is a great portrait. This lens isn't that hard too use, one should just know that a central subject is needed when used open, because of the circular bokeh (and it was designed to work this way).

I would add that one can use the odd peripheral bokeh to an advantage when shooting wide open:
