Probably this is elementary knowledge for the 90% of you but the quality of light is something that puzzles a lot of people, especially those that just started to use artificial lightning.
So I tried to explain on my blog (http://foodografia.blogspot.com/2009/05/fotografia-di-food-illuminazione-food_12.html) , in a very simple way with the help of some examples, what are hard and soft lights, how thay are produced and their effect on the subject.
