Sorry for disappearing from this post! havent been sleeping much (usually happens when im travelling) and my brain is all wired up from caffein and guarana :/

We have some incredible talents here!

And some guesses are so close it's unreal! Out of the 1000's of lenses out there!

Some people have been very good at profiling me! True photography in the end is not just the equipment, its the man/woman putting it to darn good use!

Since our friends are now feeling generous and are contributing a few more kicks and punches than we had before, should we upload a few more pix and let the answer be revealed over next weekend? On sunday morning perhaps? With toast and coffee? Very Happy

Could the following images have been shot with the same lens? Very Happy

based on your shown pictures i think it could be a 100mm Macro lens. Some points are here interesting:

-Most of the mid-distance pics got a very low contrast and much flares
-close-up shot are very colorful
-there is no normal distortion (so i could be 75mm + )
-smooth bokeh

based on this information i choose a ~100mm lens with a max f-stop of 4,
or an 50mm macro lens @crop dslr.

greetings Pascal

I think the second set were taken by the same lens or a very similar design.

erm the second set of shots are not very good and if I had a lens like that would throw it away, but then it might be ok for portraiture.

I was first :d But maybe somebody was closer?
I was thinking it is Helios 44 because:
-colours of skin
-bokeh
-typical sun behavior
-no CA
