yes, there are limitations, tourism in winter is limited, only few hotels and restaurants stay open and weather can be variable
last year, Ryain air fly here the whole winter but it seems tourists were not happy enough and they stop it

See the bright side of it, no more drivers not respecting safety distance behind you,
a simple donkey fart will keep them regularly spaced! _________________ Orio, Administrator

Wow, very nice shots, Poilu. They remind me a trip we did a few years ago to the Greek islands. Love that strong light against the white walls, the small houses, the blue sea. At Santorini they have also donkeys to climb up the stairs up to the top of the hill. I didn't try them, they seem fragile (although I know they are robust).
I remember my father's village in Cordoba (southern Spain) 50 years ago, everybody had a donkey. Now everybody has a small motorbike...
Thanks for sharing, Poilu. Your pictures have made me to get back some nice memories.
Regards.

Orio, even for a mule we are a plague, I fear.
For people like we it might be possible to find some Belgian horses?

They can easily do the job and they are a more stable base for the camera! |

here is a 100% crop on 5DII, they are certainly many lenses the same or sharper in borders but can you see how the wood skeleton pop on the background giving the Zeiss 3D effect
